Jonita Steyl
Associate Jonita Steyl graduated in 1995 from the Tshwane University of Technology with a B. Tech degree in Architecture. She has passed SACAP’s Professional Practice Examination in 2008 Cum Laude, has qualified in 2009 as Prince2 Practitioner (Project Management Methodology), and has done a CBP certificate in Project Management.
Jonita started her career at Taljaard Carter Architects (now TC Design Group) in 1996 before joining the directors of Prism Architects in 1997. In 2002 she left the services of Prism Architects, only to re-join in 2004 as Project Manager, where she has been working since.
Khathu Mahuwa
Khathutshelo Patience Mahuwa graduated in 1999 from ML Sultan Technikon which is now known as Durban University of Technology with a National diploma in Architectural Technology. Khathu have completed her NQF certificate in Project Management with Durban University of Technology (DUT).
Khathu started her professional career in 1997, in Durban doing her in-service training at PG Architects. She joined Prism Architects in July 2000 as an Architectural Technologist where she was offered a position as an Associate in 2011.
Alick Nyangulu
Associate Alick Nyangulu began his working career in 1987, at the government Department of Town & Country Planning in Zambia. In 1988, he enrolled at the University of Zambia where he successfully completed a year in the School of Natural Sciences. He there after, enrolled at the Copperbelt University to study Architecture.
In 1992, he was awarded the Zambia Institute of Architecture (ZIA) Award for the Best Academic Student in Architecture. In 1993 he was awarded the Anderson & Anderson Architects Award for Academic Excellence, and in 1994 he received the Award of Academic Excellence from the School of Environmental Studies (SES).He graduated in 1995 with a Bachelor of Architecture degree with merit.
Alick started his postgraduate employment with KZ Architects – Lusaka, Zambia in 1995, and after 2 years, he was transferred to Botswana to work on the First TV & Radio Station project for Botswana. He there after worked at Pramod Patel Architects for a period of 12 years.
Alick relocated to Johannesburg, South Africa in 2006, joining Prism Architects as Senior Architect and was elevated to Associate in 2011.
